Hastelloy

Hastelloy is a trademarked name for a group of corrosion-resistant metal alloys primarily composed of nickel, with varying amounts of molybdenum, iron, and chromium. These alloys are renowned for their outstanding resistance to oxidation, stress corrosion cracking, and severe chemical environments, especially in acidic and high-temperature applications.

Common grades of Hastelloy, such as Hastelloy C-22, C-276, and B-2, are widely used in chemical processing, aerospace, nuclear reactors, and pollution control equipment. These alloys meet international standards like ASTM B574, B619, and B622, offering superior durability and reliability in highly corrosive and demanding industrial environments.
