Alloy 20

Alloy 20, also known as Carpenter 20 or UNS N08020, is a highly corrosion-resistant austenitic alloy primarily composed of nickel, chromium, iron, and copper. It is specifically designed to withstand sulfuric acid and other aggressive chemical environments, making it ideal for chemical and pharmaceutical processing applications.

With excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking, Alloy 20 is widely used in heat exchangers, storage tanks, mixing tanks, and piping systems. It conforms to international standards such as ASTM B463, B464, and B729, offering reliable performance and longevity in demanding industrial settings.
